Salvageable. In a way it's a beautiful parallel to the artistic process Margot uses in her work. Discarded bike seats transform into animal heads, metal handlebars into antlers, old bolts and coils into eyes. Margot is a punk artist and sculpturist based in Tio'tia:ke (Montreal). “Artists in Studio” is an ongoing portraits project of Selena Phillips-Boyle.

As I photograph Leh, she slowly moves around her garden with her green watering can, listening to the needs of each plant before carrying on. Seeing her body relax spending time surrounded by growing things, I can see how time spent in her garden is good for Leh's mental health.
