Kristen welcomes me into the collective garden and I'm transported from the busy borough of Point-Saint-Charles in Montreal to a lush vegetable garden oasis. An important aspect of Kristen's mental health is her engagement with socio-political issues, and taking power over her food is one way to achieve food autonomy.
